Family/Babe: The Anderson's

The Anderson's were sweet enough to let me take pictures of their adorable family and sweet baby girl, Rylee, who is six months old.  We also got a few pictures of Rylee, with her two cute cousins and Aunt. Rylee was such a sweet and content little girl, that it was no problem getting her to smile for the camera.  Thanks again for letting me do these, it was such a great day.

Hope you all enjoy these as much as I do.

Couples/Just Because: Lindsey and Danny

Lindsey and I became friends our freshmen year of college.  We lived together the entire time we were in Columbia and then even moved back to KC together once we graduated.   Lindsey is one of the funniest people I know and we've had a lot of fun together over the years.  Lindsey has found quite the guy in Danny, and I couldn't be happier for them.  The two of them moved to KC about a year ago, and I've so enjoyed getting to be around the two of them more often.  They have the cutest dog, Bentley, which makes an appearance in the shoot. They also have a pretty cool cat, Berkley, but he didn't make it for the photos. :)  Here are my favorites.....

Babes: Examples

Here are some pictures of kids that I've taken in the past.  Yes, a lot of these are my own daughter but until recently she was my only model.  :)

Whitney: Senior

I've been neighbors with Whitney essentially since she was born, which makes me feel a little old since she'll be starting her senior year of high school at the end of this summer.  The other night I was hanging out with her and her mom and she mentioned she was looking for someone to do her senior pictures.  I jokingly said, " Whit, I'm gonna get so good that you're going to want me to take your pictures."  Shortly after our conversation, I went home to give M a bath but couldn't stop thinking that I really wanted a shot at taking her pictures.  After bath time, I ran back over to their house to tell Whitney's mom that I really wanted a shot at taking her pictures and to mention it to Whitney.  Whitney, the sweet girl that she is, already mentioned this to her mom.  I told her that I'd take them and then if she didn't like them she could totally use someone else no feelings hurt.  We did some pictures last Sunday evening and they turned out great, I'm super happy with them and couldn't be more excited to give this a shot! So with that being said if you need a super laid back, fun photographer, for cheap, I'm your gal!

Whitney's going to get some special attention on this blog since she was the first to take a leap of faith with me! :)  We've got at least one more (maybe two) shoots to do this summer/ fall!

So without further ado, here she is looking mighty fine!  :)
